Compliance & Review Calendar Template

Is your business compliant?

A frequent problem we have found across many business’s that contact us, is often training and competencies have already expired before they realise. Often this is due to day to day operational tasks taking priority and often people work in the here and now, aswell as managers carrying out a large number of varying roles within the business, resulting in training and other compliance areas being missed or over looked!

To combat this increasing trend Health, Safety & Environmental Compliance Services Limited has produced a basic compliance & review calendar template to assist you to be more compliant and keep on top training and other aspects of your business, to include but not limited to risk assessment review periods, waste carrier licence expiry, scrap metal dealers act, insurances, LOLER inspections and most importantly for those of you who are the technically competent person for a permitted waste facility, when your continuing competence is due.

The compliance & review calendar template can be amended to suit all sizes of business, year after year and can be printed and placed on the wall to allow easy viewing of what is due to expire over the coming months!

In addition to this Health, Safety & Environmental Compliance Services Limited provides all its customers with the option of us taking over your training and competencies and acting as your own personal training department. We will let you know at set intervals before a competency is due to expire or when refresher training is due, to include but not limited to WAMITAB continuing competence, mobile plant, first aid and driver CPC.

Additionally, we can source and arrange for any additional training or competencies to be provided whether its new training, professional updates or refresher training for competencies you already hold.

By using a compliance and review calendar it increases your compliance and is the best method to ensure you continue to stay compliant!

What next?

  1. Download the excel spreadsheet.
  2. Amend the site details, adding in your site’s information.
  3. Amend the title headings for each section in the order you want them.
  4. Add in the documents or areas of compliance you want to target, putting them in order under the relevant section / title.
  5. Save a copy, so its ready for next year, remember each year all you need to do is amend the weeks and months along the top!
  6. Plot your review periods, and planned completion date for each area of compliance!

Ensure you:

Spend time setting out the calendar with as many aspects of your business as possible. The more effort you put in at the start means less amendments, and your less likely to miss something which in turn means you will be more compliant!

Set realistic time frames for review periods, space things out to ensure where possible each day, week and month requires you to do only a few additional tasks!

Where possible take it to a professional printer to make it as large as possible, so when you have that two minutes to yourself, you can easily identify what needs to be done.

Compliance can be easy, with a little admin!
